Jane Cameron

Jane brings humor, compassion and the lessons of time to her teaching. Her classes are geared toward allowing students to age with grace and power

Her interest in yoga sparked as a teenager in the 1970s. She has dabbled in many schools but matured in the Iyengar system and its offshoots. She graduated from the Essential and Advanced Teacher Training programs at Rochester’s Open Sky Yoga and holds a 300 hour certification with the Yoga Alliance. She also holds an Advanced Relax and Renew teaching certification through study with Judith Lasater. In addition to Lasater, her primary teachers are Donald Moyer, Francois Raoult and Bobby Clennell. She has travelled to India to study with the Iyengar family and to sojourn throughout the South. She is currently completing a certification on the history and philosophy of yoga through the prestigious Institute for Yogic Studies. However, she fears that Sanskrit pronunciation will never quite be the same! :-) Namaste.
