I'm a distance runner who has practiced yoga for over 25 years. Ten years ago, I got an overuse injury, and my relationship with yoga completely changed. I started taking restorative yoga classes (which I had once avoided, thinking they were not for me) that taught me how to slow down, back off, and be kind to myself. 


In January 2020, I received my 200-hour certification through Yogis in Service (YIS) with a focus on trauma-informed instruction. I base my instruction on the YIS 12 Principles for Growth to empower my students to recognize what they need so they can get the most out of themselves.

This all-levels class is for anyone who wants to improve flexibility, circulation, and joint mobility. We use bolsters, straps, and blocks to support long holds. Each class is based on student needs, with a foundation of breathing, mindfulness, and self-discovery.
