Register here for class[LAST WEDNESDAY OF EVERY MONTH]
Discover the transformative power of Yoga Nidra, often called "Yogic Sleep," a profound guided meditation that offers deep restoration for the modern mind. Practiced entirely in a comfortable reclining position, this session systematically transitions your brain from active Beta waves to the healing Delta states associated with deep sleep—all while you remain consciously aware. By soothing the nervous system and triggering the parasympathetic "rest and digest" response, Yoga Nidra helps reduce cortisol, alleviate anxiety, and improve sleep quality. Whether you are looking to reduce anxiety, manage chronic stress, or catch up on missed rest—with some suggesting 30 minutes is as restorative as four hours of sleep—Yoga Nidra offers a powerful sanctuary for the body to heal itself. No movement or experience is required; simply arrive as you are, lie down, and be guided into stillness.

This steady, alignment-focused practice is taught in the tradition of B.K.S. Iyengar. We use blocks, belts, and bolsters because there’s no prize for doing a pose the hard way. Standing, seated, and restorative poses build strength and balance while improving mobility in the hips, spine, and shoulders.
No flow, no rush. Each pose is set up with care, so you actually understand what you’re doing and why. Whether you’re working around an injury, noticing your body doing new and unrequested things, or just wanting to stay strong without wrecking yourself in the process, you’re in the right room. No yoga experience required.
